Manon Lepomme

Liège-based comedienne Manon Lepomme has been a key figure in the French-speaking world’s comedy scene for several years now. She began her career in 2012 with her one-woman show “Je vous fais un dessin?”, which met with some success in Belgium, but also in France and Switzerland.

Her second show, “Non, je n’irai pas chez le psy!” made her a household name. She won the prize for best comedy show in 2018 at the Festival Off d’Avignon. She even performed in Quebec.

In 2019, she takes part in the three biggest humor festivals in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation: Rochefort, Bastogne and Voo Rire in Liège. In all, she will have performed this show over 400 times. She also received the Talent Wallon prize in 2017, awarded by the Walloon Parliament. Since January 2022, she has been on tour with her one-woman show “Je vais beaucoup mieux, merci!” directed by Mathieu Debaty and co-written by Marc Andreini. Once again, it was a huge success: over 150 dates in 1 year, including an Avignon Festival Sold Out in 2022.

Again this year, Manon Lepomme was present at the 2023 edition with 12 performances – 10 sold out – 2313 spectators.

At the same time, Manon Lepomme is producing the show “Trois Amies”, in which she shares the stage with two talented actresses: Isabelle Hauben and Isabelle Innocente. The play was written by the three protagonists and Liège author Marc Andreini. The show is also a great success.

Manon Lepomme confirms her status as one of Belgium’s finest humorists. This talented comedian is a champion of self-mockery. Her closeness to the audience and authenticity make each performance unique and frighteningly effective.
